Submission Guidelines
Areas of Focus:
Your paper should explore, critique, and expand upon the key principles set forth in the Declaration. We recommend that you address two or more of the following themes, or present a different, unique perspective relevant to the Declaration. It would be invaluable if you could please include a section on ‘notes for the future’.
Reflections on the Declaration:
What do you value most about the Declaration?
How does it align with or challenge existing frameworks in your field?
Critical Analysis and Recommendations:
Are there specific articles within the Declaration that could be refined or expanded?
How can the Declaration better serve diverse stakeholders, including scientists, doctors, athletes, and policymakers?
What terms should be defined? How should they be defined?
Practical Applications:
How do you envision the Declaration guiding the implementation of human enhancement technologies in sport, medicine, and beyond?
Are there examples or case studies that illustrate how the Declaration could be applied for the greater good?
Long-Term Implications:
How might the Declaration shape the future of science, culture, and sport?
What ethical or societal considerations should we keep in mind as we move toward an era where human biology is no longer a limit?
Format & Length:
Papers should be well structured with subheadings and must include an abstract.
Word limit: 3000.
Deadline:
Submissions are due by 10th February 2025.
